Mirador, new Argentine TV channel to be broadcast on the Argentine FTA Digital TV Network (TDA) and the Cont.ar platform, was officially presented in Santa Fe City. The channel with bring together for the first time public audiovisual content generated in all the country’s regions, and will integrate broadcasters from 20 Argentine’s provinces.
Apart from that, Mirador also aims to promote contents, formats and equipment co-productions, joint acquisition and exchange, and to develop events and activities related to Argentine public channels goals. It will also train workers in technical, artistic, communication, resource management and application of new technologies.
‘This TV network, which will be watched throughout the country, shows the huge wealth our country has, and highlights diversity, one of the Argentine’s identity values’, said Hernan Lombardi, Argentine Public Media System Secretary.
Mirador will have contents of the network it will be part together with Channel 11 (Formosa), Channel 12 (Misiones), Chaco TV (Chaco), Litus TV (Santa Fe), Channel 10 (Tucumán), Channel 7 (Catamarca), Channel 9 (La Rioja), Channel 10 (Córdoba), Channel 13 (San Luis), Channel 7 (Buenos Aires), TV UNLP (Buenos Aires), Channel 12 Trenque Lauquen (Buenos Aires), Acequia (Mendoza), Channel 3 (La Pampa), Channel U (Mendoza), Channel 10 (Río Negro), Channel 9 (Chubut), Channel 9 (Santa Cruz), Channel 13 (Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego) and Channel 11 (Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego).
Gabriela Ricardes, Argentine’s Federal Public Media System Content Secretary, on which Cont.ar depends, will be one of the speakers at the Nextv Series Argentina event, which will take place on May 14th and 15th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buenos Aires.
