Chilean holding company Megamedia announced that it will launch its SVOD OTT Mega GO in May, with more than 100 titles from national and international series, live channels, premium content, Turkish series, and others. In addition, new episodes will be available in advance, once a week.
As reported by Megamedia, access to Mega GO content will be made through a CH$ 3,000 (USD 3.5) monthly subscription. The platform will have no advertising, and will be available on iOS, Android and Samsung devices. In addition, subscribers will be able to access a free seven-day trial period.
‘The aim of Mega GO is to improve users experience. We have listened to people, and what they are looking for today is to be able to enjoy their favorite programs at the time they want, without advertising and on the device they prefer. In addition, there is a high preference on the audience to be able to watch their favorite productions before they are broadcast on TV’, said Constanza Junge, Digital Manager at Megamedia.
Some of the content that will be available on Mega GO will be the Turkish series ‘Eres mi vida’ and ‘Stiletto Vendetta’ (both to watch on demand) and the pre-release of the also Turkish ‘Cukur’ and ‘Zuleyha’; in addition to Chilean productions such as ‘Verdades ocultas’, ‘Yo soy Lorenzo’; ‘Papa a la deriva’ and ‘Te doy la vida’ and the premium series ‘Isabel’, ‘Dignidad’, ‘La caceria’, ‘Martin’, ‘Efecto mariposa’ and ‘Adios al septimo en linea’. Live channels such as Mega, Megaplus, ETC TV and Carolina TV, and Mega programs like ‘Azul profundo’ and ‘Vuelta a la manzana’ will also be offered.
