Loading, a new TV channel recently launched in Brazil, has added more than 50 Crunchyroll titles to its programming grid, and will offer a range of anime titles as part of its content catalog. In addition, according to several specialized websites, Loading will dub several titles in partnership with Crunchyroll, such as ‘91 days’ and ‘Given’.
‘We are excited to introduce the Brazilian anime community even more of its favorite series through our partnership with Loading’, said Brady McCollum, Director of Global and International Operations at Crunchyroll. ‘Crunchyroll is committed to the global growth of anime, and our new partnership with Loading will provide another way for fans to interact with the series they love’, added the executive. Also, Anderson Abraços, Chief Experience Officer at Loading, added: ‘We are always looking for the best anime available in the market, and Crunchyroll has achieved success with its original brand, so we hired them and ranthis agreement, which will soon be so successful’.
In terms of anime, in mid-November, Funimation, a new SVOD OTT focused on these contents, was launched in Brazil and Mexico, thus making its official arrival in Latin America. The platform was already available in the US, Canada, Uk, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
