Brazilian football club Cruzeiro Esporte Clube- better known as ‘Cruzeiro’- has officially announced this last Wednesday, February 10th, an agreement with LiveSports, a company located in São Paulo and focused on producing sports and entertainment content. According to the terms of the agreement, LiveSports will produce, together with professionals from Cruzeiro’s Communication and Digital areas, content and special broadcasts based on the club’s Professional Team, in addition to its daily training sessions and matches. The agreement also covers content production for the club’s Women’s Team, as well as institutional events, and others.
‘We will produce content at a general level together with Cruzeiro, which will be focused on monitoring the Professional Team, as well as travels, exclusive interviews, club footballers interacting with fans, Female’s Football Team and other sports. The club, which is turning 100 this year, has many stories to tell’, said João Palomino, CEO at LiveSports. The executive added that world sport is experiencing a new stage, which requires quality content in live streaming, and other issues. ‘It is necessary to instigate our fans to watch the club’s live broadcasts, and that is only achieved through premium content, with quality viewing experience, information and aesthetic quality. And LiveSports was born exactly to transform technology into emotion’, reported Palomino.
‘We have been working hard to recover more and more the credibility of the ‘Cruzeiro’ brand in the market, and the partnership with LiveSports is another indication that we are on the right track. We want to offer our fans top-of-the-line content, and generate new revenue for the club. Access to LiveSports content and broadcasts will be possible through the official Cruzeiro’s channels, which will include interaction between club fans, as well as exclusive interviews and content about the daily activities in the club.
