US telecommunications company Liberty Global informed through an official statement that it completed the integration of Pay-TV operator Choice Cable TV in Puerto Rico and from April 5th provides uniformed services. In addition, it re-launched its website.
“This union will bring efficiencies and enhance our ability to invest in our next generation infrastructure, enable us to expand and train our staff and therefore provide better products, services and offers to our residential and business customers,” stated the President and CEO of Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico, Naji Khoury.
Liberty completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Choice in June 2015 but since then the two brands continued to exist simultaneously, the latest offering services in the southern areas of the island.
According to the company, the two joint operations form a network of more than one million households in Puerto Rico distributed in 75 municipalities. The transaction, which was announced in December 2014, was conducted for a total of USD 272.5 million.
