The OTT JustWatch, which brings global series-and-film platforms together , was launched this Tuesday in Argentina, according to what was reported to the country’s Telam news agency from the Berlin-based company. Through the JustWatch Argentine version, users can access all content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, HBO GO, Movistar Play, Clarovideo, Blim, Crunchyroll, and others, from one place.
In case any of the available titles is repeated on more than one platform, JustWatch will offer comparative filters in image quality and prices to watch the production chosen by each user. According to data from the company reported by Telam, during the quarantine that takes place in several countries to stop the advance of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), the use of the platform recorded a large-scale growth in Europe, with special emphasis on Spain (191%) and France (187%).
The OTT will be available for free to use and download in virtual stores for iOS and Android devices, apart from downloading it also for Smart TVs, Fire TVs, Apple TV + and Android TV.
From the company they reported to Télam that the application has a recommendations section for each user, a ‘film test’ to guide content and a catalog to be watched ‘legally’.
With 20 million users and available in 41 countries, JustWatch is based in Berlin and has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and London. In Latin America, apart from Argentina, OTT is also available in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
