Izzi announced that it will extend its service to the cities of Durango, Toluca, Metepec, San Mateo Atenco, Zinacantepec and Lerma. With the expansion of its fiber optic network, the Mexican operator will be able to offer more inhabitants its broadband and fixed telephony package, as well as access to its STB with AndroidTV, Izzitv smart, and its OTTs Izzi Go and Izzi Kids.
As announced by the company, with the arrival in Durango, 120 thousand homes will be incorporated into its FTTH coverage. Meanwhile, in the State of Mexico Izzi will be able to provide its service to 344 thousand houses with its GPON.
In addition to expanding its reach, Izzi will open a total of six branches and 15 points of sale distributed among the six cities that are added to the 60 that it already had. The company assures that in addition to bringing the service closer to many more families, they will also generate more than 400 jobs for its inhabitants.
