Izzi adds Netflix subscription to its new packages in Mexico

Mexican telecommunications company Izzi announced an agreement with Netflix to add the OTT subscription to the new company’s packages included in its catalog. The Izzi Unlimited offer, which includes telephony and broadband internet and access to all Izzi TV contents -from live channels to VOD- will now include direct access to Netflix with the same access code and in the same bill.

‘Our new Izzi Unlimited packages offer a really innovative solution. Customers will have all their services integrated into a single platform and with more internet speed options’, said Salvi Folch, CEO of Izzi, who added later that the company is focused on ‘satisfying and improving their customer’s entertainment experience, making easier for them to access to the best content’, and expressed that the agreement with Netflix ‘benefits our subscribers in more than 100 cities in the country’.

Paul Perryman, Business Development Vice President at Netflix, also expressed himself about the agreement, and said that ‘despite what TV set our customers have, with Izzi’s STB they will have easy access to the Netflix service and their favorite TV channels, all in the same place’. Some of the original Netflix series and movies available on Izzi Unlimited are La casa de las flores, Stranger Things, La casa de papel and Misterio a bordo, into others.
