Hulu tops 450K live TV subs: report

Hulu’s live service has about 450,000 paying subscribers, while YouTube TV has more than 300,000, according to a CNBC, which cites people familiar with the matter. Both services were launched in 2017.
YouTube TV launched in the United States in April initially in select market. The services offers a basic package with live entertainment, sports and news channels, among others, for a monthly subscription of USD 35.
Hulu started offering the beta version of its live service in May, 2017, for a monthly subscription of USD 39.99. The company also offer its VOD service for USD 7.99. Recently, Hulu announced that it has more than 17 million paying customers spread across both its on-demand and live TV services.
Both Hulu and YouTube TV are behind DirecTV Now, which said in December it reached 1 million subscribers, and Dish’s Sling TV, which has more than 2 million subscribers, according to comScore estimates.
