HBO starts filming new original Brazilian series

HBO Latin America announced that it will begin the filming process of ‘Os Esquecidos’ (Los Olvidados), next February 17th, a suspense and mystery series that will be recorded for four months with locations in San Pablo, Paranapiacaba and other cities in that State.

Throughout 10 episodes, Os Esquecidos will tell the story of a group of young people who get lost on a trail in the Sierra del Mar, a mountain range in Brazil that extends from the state of Rio de Janeiro to the north of the State of Santa Catarina. In danger and in the middle of the jungle, they will find refuge in a small town that does not appear on the maps and that is hidden in an eternal fog.

Os Esquecidos is produced by Luis F. Peraza, Roberto Ríos and Eduardo Zaca, from HBO Latin America Originals, and Andrea Barata Ribeiro and Bel Berlinck, from O2 Filmes. The series will be directed by Fábio Mendonça and is made entirely with investments owned by HBO Latin America.
