Announced by HBO last year and composed of four, one-hour, episodes, ‘Amongst Men’, which takes place during the 90s in Buenos Aires, is set in a disturbing urban landscape where there are no differences between sinners and saints. A party that ended badly, a murder that must be concealed and a lost VHS tape lead to a path of vengeance, blood and lawlessness.

‘At HBO, we constantly look to tell the best, most innovative stories, and Argentina has always been a source of talent and inspiration for our productions. ‘Among Men’  is a visceral work of fiction, and we are very proud to be working on this new project that will allow us to bring this exceptional cult novel to the HBO screen and to a larger audience’, said Roberto Rios, Corporate Vice President of Original Production at HBO Latin America.

Based on the book of the same name by German Maggiori, ‘Amongst Men’ is directed by Pablo Fendrik and written by Maggiori in collaboration with Fendrik. Executive producers for the miniseries are Luis F. Peraza, Roberto Rios and Paul Drago for HBO Latin America, and Adrian Suar and Diego Andrasnik for Pol-Ka.
