HBO Go offers one-month free access to series’ new episodes in Latin America

American programmer HBO (Time Warner) opened for the first time the access to its series’ new episodes on its Video On Demand (VOD) and TV Everywhere platform HBO Go (hbogola.com) for one month, starting April 27th, for all Latin America.

The episodes of the new seasons (as well as their pilots) of awarded series Game of Thrones, Veep, Silicon Valley and El Negocio, in addition to a limited avant-premiere of Penny Dreadful, will be available for free to the general public without the need to be registered as a premium Pay-TV subscriber.

Contents will also be accessible through the HBO Go mobile app for iOS and Android and on the HBO On Demand service offered through Pay-TV operators in the region with which it has agreements.

HBO announced in early March it plans to launch independent access to HBO Go together with Pay-TV operators in Argentina and Brazil that offer internet services. ETB of Colombia already offers it to its broadband customers without the need of being Pay-TV subscribers. In Mexico, through Dish (MVS), it is open to anyone in the country with internet access.
