Golf Channel’s TV Everywhere platform is available to customers of DirecTV in Latin America


According what NexTV News Latam could find out, the TV Everywhere platform of Pay-TV signal Golf Channel Latin America is now available for DirecTV (AT&T) customers  in the region.


Golf Channel, which occupies the 628 frequency  slot in standard definition (SD) of the DTH operator, which owns in turn 20% of the shares of the channel in the region, will be available in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Caribbean.


The channel was launched in 2006 in Latin America as part of an investment of businessman Carlos Avila, former Torneos’ CEO, and DirecTV by purchasing the Pay-TV license owned by US broadcaster NBCUniversal (Comcast).
