Globo from Brazil to produce its first series in Spanish, acquired by TV Azteca from Mexico

TV channel Globo from Brazil presented their products to be marketed outside that country during the annual conference of the National Association of Television Program Executives (Natpe). There it announced the production of its first series produced entirely in Spanish, created exclusively for the international market.

The series will be called Supermax and will be directed by Argentine filmmaker Daniel Burman. With an extension of 10 episodes, the production will begin to be recorded in April and has been acquired by Mexican Free-to-Air broadcaster TV Azteca.

The plot revolves around a closed prison that becomes the scenario for a reality television show and will be starred by actors Bruno Gagliasso (Brazil), Santiago Segura (Spain) and Cecilia Roth (Argentina). The network also presented other contents for sale such as the Final Feliz series and the movie Tim.
