‘High quality films produced by Warner adds value and impact to our film programming’, said Amauri Soares, Director of Acquisitions and Programming at Globo, adding that the company is ‘very happy to continue leading these successful movies to Brazilian audiences’.
From Warner Bros they have also expressed themselves on the agreement. ‘We enjoy the long and successful relationship we have with Globo and we look forward to seeing our films as part of the TV network’s programming,” said Jeff Schlesinger, President of Warner Bros. Apart from the agreement with Warner Bros, Globo recently partnered with Sony Pictures Television to produce series in English for the international market.
