Football in the new era of OTT and social networks to star in one-on-one session during Nextv Sports Latin America’s second virtual edition

As part of what will be the second Nextv Sport Latin America’s virtual edition, Dataxis, the company in charge of organizing the event, will hold a panel discussion entitled ‘Football in the new era of OTT and social networks’, which It will take place next Tuesday, May 4th between 11:40 AM (CDMX), and 12:00 PM (CDMX). Unlike the rest of the panels that make up the agenda for the two days of the event, in this case Dataxis will hold a one-on-one session with Mauro Silva, Vice President at the Paulista Football Federation, together with whom issues related to the link between football, OTT platforms and social networks will be discussed.

Following the success of its first virtual edition in 2020, Nextv Sport Latin America 2021 will bring together the top executives making live sports broadcasting happen in a region that is home to some of the world’s most passionate fans. Recent changes in sports broadcasting consumption trends, which have been accelerated by the Covid pandemic, have forced rights owners, leagues, teams, TV networks and sports streaming services to reassess their short, medium and long-term strategy.
