The Telecom Argentina and ViacomCBS companies have officially announced a new strategic partnership this Monday, August 2nd, through which Flow has added Paramount+ into its platform. As a result of the partnership, Flow customers can now access the Paramount+ Premium Pack for free for 12 months, and access all its titles from any device. At the end of the period, Flow customers must pay the Paramount+ subscription, valued at AR $ 299 (USD 3) per month. The initiative follows the launch of Paramount+ as a SVOD OTT, which took place last March in the region.
‘The arrival of Paramount+, with thousands of premium content hours, meant a before and after for ViacomCBS, as well as this agreement that we are announcing with Telecom. I am convinced that the power of its platform with the quality of our exclusive and original content, with the best local and international shows and talents, will be highly valued by all Flow users’, reported Dario Turovelzky, GM Southern Cone at ViacomCBS.
According to the information officially reported by ViacomCBS, Flow Box customers will be able to subscribe to the Paramount+ Premium Pack through channel 247, through which they will be able to access some of the Paramount+ titles, such as ‘Infinite’, whose premiere is scheduled for August 11th; ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’; ‘House of Lies’; ‘One Dollar’; ‘For Life’; and other local titles such as ‘Susana, invitada de honor’; ‘Siendo Pampita’; ‘Marley & Mirko’; ‘Manos Arriba, Chef”; and others.
‘We continue to strengthen Flow as the meeting place where all entertainment content converges, providing our clients with the best user experience and the most delicate offer on multiple screens. With this strategic perspective, we have partnered with a global content leader such as ViacomCBS, which will allow us to offer our clients an integrated experience with all Paramount+ content in Flow’, stated Gonzalo Hita, COO at Telecom Argentina.
Gonzalo Hita will be starring in the one-on-one session ‘Flow: what now for the next-generation pay-TV platform that changed it all?’, which will take place on Thursday, September 2nd between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM (ART), at the coming Nextv Series South America’s virtual edition. Registration is now open, and can be done here.
