Grupo Somos announced that as part of its efforts to support home entertainment during the Coronavirus pandemic, the FlixLatino SVOD OTT will extend its free trial period to 30 days. Available in the US and Puerto Rico, the platform offers an in-Spanish series, films, documentaries and animes  catalog.

To access the 30-day free trial,  the platform subscribers must enter its website and enter the code “QUEDATEENCASA”. It will be available until the last day of May.

‘We feel right now that we have a responsibility to support the population in this singlular moment, where home and multi-screen entertainment has a special appeal. This extended trial period will allow our platform’s subscribers, apart from examining the service, to enjoy recreation moments, which are so necessary in quarantine’, said Luis Guillermo Villanueva, COO at Somos Next.

The OTT’s catalog of titles includes films and series such as ‘El corazon del oceano’, ‘La caza.Monteperdido’, ‘Mas hablar de mambo’ and ‘Secretos’, with actors such as Mexicans Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, and the Peruvian actor Carlos Alcantara. In addition, FlixLatino Kids, a section that premiered last year on the platform, includes series such as ‘Little people’, ‘Doodleboo’, ‘Elias’, ‘Mouk’ and ‘Doozers’.
