From March, Facebook will broadcast exclusively matches from  Libertadores Cup through Facebook Watch, a VOD platform run by Facebook, which arrived at Latin America in August 2018 after being launched in the US a year before. Totally, 27 matches will be broadcasted on the digital platform on Thursdays, and the remaining 19 will do it together with TV on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

To take part on Libertadores Cup broadcasts it will be necessary to join its page on Facebook. From cell phones, matches will be announced automatically and in computers people must click on the Watch icon, located  on Facebook’s main menu left side. Access will be for free.

‘With the Libertadores Cup we achieved a new way of watching football in the region, in a social and interactive way’, explained Leonardo Lenz Cesar, Facebook Sports Alliances Head for Latin America.
