The new agreement between ESPN and the LNB also provides for the Super 8 Cup to be broadcast. It is a tournament that brings together the top eight teams from the first round of the NBB. The Super 8 Cup champion team will qualify for the 2022 Basketball Champions League. The competition will take place between January 16th and 23rd, 2021. In addition to the NBB, ESPN also has the rights to broadcast the NBA and the WNBA. in the Brazilian market.
