Telecommunications company Entel Bolivia has officially announced on August 16th the launch of ‘Entel TV Smart’, its new pay TV offering via streaming, available to the company’s mobile customers, both prepaid and postpaid, although, as reported, it will soon be available to clients of other operators in the country. The app is available for download on iOS and Android mobile phones.
‘From now on, Entel takes a very important step in its transformation: it is no longer a conventional, traditional telecommunications company, which only provides mobile telephony, fixed telephony, internet and other services. Now, we are going to provide other types of services, and we do so with the launch of the ‘Entel TV Smart’ application, which allows Entel TV clients to have access to the channels they have at home, now also on a smartphone’, reported Roy Mendez Sotelo, General Manager at Entel Bolivia.
The executive also explained that, through the ‘Entel TV Smart’ app, Entel customers will be able to access 10 national channels for free. In addition, the offer includes other two subscription plans: one valued at Bs 10 (USD 1.5), which will allow access to 13 international channels; and another Bs 35 (USD 5) plan, which will allow access to 25 international channels. It will also offer a VOD content catalog, including series and movies. Previously, Entel TV Smart’s offering was available to the company’s IPTV clients.
‘This way, the company offers a new experience to customers, who will be able to consume video content on their smartphones at any time and from anywhere, under the coverage of Entel’s mobile internet network, or also from any WiFi connection’, they reported from Entel.
