Disney announces Advertising Sales & Partnerships structure in Latin America

The Walt Disney Company Latin America announced Disney’s Advertising Sales & Partnerships team, which is already working to provide customers services while capitalizing on the company’s full brand and franchise portfolio to offer experiences that maximize advertising revenues and increase the market share.  

Leaders who are in charge of this team and report to Kattia Quintanilla, Head of Add Sales Latin America, are Federico Baumgartner, Head of Sales Mexico, who joins the team from the Fox Networks Group; Bernardo Benedit, Head of Sales Argentina / Southern Cone (Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay). He joined the team after 20 years of experience in different companies within the entertainment industry. Leo McLean, Head of Sales Argentina / Southern Cone (Sports Pillar), who comes from ESPN and is working together with Benedit, supervising sales in Argentina and the Southern Cone, and focuses mainly on the sports pillar. Juan Bonilla, Head of Sales Colombia, also joins the team from ESPN, same as Alfonso Cueto, Head of Pan Regional Sales Miami, Central America and the Caribbean. Felipe Torrejon is the new Head of Sales Chile, from Fox Networks Group, and Brazil’s Head of Sales is yet to be defined.

Also reporting Kattia Quintanilla, other names that join this team are Ignacio Cabanillas, Head of Digital Sales. Coming from ESPN, he jointly assumes as Head of Digital Sales and Digital Ad Sales Operations Support Regional Lead and is responsible for the digital advertising business development and execution. Larissa Campos, Head of Creative Brand Solutions, also from ESPN, is responsible for the creative development and production of innovative cross-platform brand projects. Pablo Esperon, from Fox Networks Group, is the new Head of Planning & Revenue Management, and leads the center of advertising sales excellence, which includes the financial planning of all expressions of advertising sales, pricing, inventory analysis, market analysis, customer performance, and reports and design of the processes necessary to develop all this in an efficient way.

Carmen Fuentes, from Disney, is the new Head of Key Account Partnerships, and she focuses on expanding the business beyond the media to expand The Walt Disney Company’ catalog, promoting its characters and stories and optimizing opportunities. Sandra Lacayo is the new Head of Promotions & Sponsorships. She also comes from Disney and is in charge of sales for promotions and sponsorships. She is responsible for supervising promotions and sponsorship activations, ensuring that they favor key initiatives, franchises and marketing priorities, while maximizing the media value of the entire portfolio. In addition, Leonel Scotta, from Disney, is working as the Head of Radio & Special Initiatives. He is responsible for developing and supervising the commercial strategy of one of the most important regional radio stations in Latin America: Radio Disney. Leonel continues to manage advertising sales for Radio Disney in the 13 markets in which it is available (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay). He is in charge of the radio’s sales and takes new responsibilities for the company’s  special initiatives.
