Disney+ adds a new distribution partner in Latin America and is now available for Telecentro’s customers

Argentine pay TV operator Telecentro has announced this last Friday, April 16th, that it has added Disney+ to its offer, so that its customers can access its catalog through their compatible STBs. In addition, since last April 1st, Telecentro’s customers who have an active service from the company, or with a 60 MB or more internet plan, will be able to access Disney+ for free for up to three months.

According to the terms and conditions established by Telecentro, the company will offer free access to Disney+ for one month for customers with a 60 megabyte plan. Those who have hired the plan that features 75 megabytes or more will be able to access the Disney platform for free for a three-months period. Once the special offer is over, customers must pay the Disney+ monthly subscription, currently valued at AR $385 (USD 4), on the same Telecentro invoice.

Disney+, the new The Walt Disney Company’s SVOD OTT, was officially launched in Latin America on November 17th last year, and brings together on its catalog titles from various brands, such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. ‘The arrival of Disney+ to Telecentro means a new chapter in the expansion of the telecommunications company’s entertainment offer, and brings its clients access to innovative and high-quality stories’, they officially reported from Telecentro.

In turn, those who already have an active Disney+ subscription can access it from different mobile devices, including video game consoles, streaming devices and smart TVs. The SVOD OTT allows, for each subscription, streaming on up to four devices at the same time, as well as unlimited downloads on ten devices, and the configuration of seven different profiles. It also offers personalized recommendations and the ability to create profiles for children. The Disney+ offer joins other initiatives already launched by Telecentro, such as the integration of Amazon Prime Video to its STBs and the recent announcement of making its SVOD OTT, Telecentro Play, available also as a standalone platform.
