DirecTV announced the launching of Connection DirecTV, its new sports newscast, which is being premiered today on DirecTV Sports in Peru. The program will offer an analysis on Peruvian and international sports scene. It will have a daily edition from Mondays to Fridays and another on Sundays, and all of them will last half an hour. It will also include special coverages and compilations from the main sporting events highlighted moments.

Nicolas Albistur, DirecTV Latin America’s Programming Director, said that the company continues betting on local content creation, and defined Connection DirecTV as ‘a renewed and high quality newscast, which will be led by excellent sports journalism professionals’. Later, he said that this issue makes it ‘an attractive entertainment offer for our subscribers’.  

DirecTV Sports will take part of the next Sportv Series event, developed by Dataxis, which will take place next October 2nd at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, US.
