As officially reported by DirecTV (AT&T), since December 2020, the SVOD OTT DirecTV GO, recently launched in Brazil and relaunched in Argentina, is available for download on LG devices in those two countries, in addition to Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
LG devices enabled to download DirecTV GO are LG OLED and LG NanoCell TVs. LG users who download the app will be able to access the platform on up to two devices at the same time, including smart TVs, Apple TV, iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, laptops and computers with Windows, Apple and Chrome operating systems.
DirecTV GO’s offer includes linear channels from several Latin American countries, such as TV Globo, Record TV, Azteca Mundo, ADN 40, Mega, Chilevision, Canal 13 (Chile), TVN, Caracol TV, Canal 13 (Argentina), America TV, Telefe, and others. At the sporting level, the platform includes matches from various competitions that take place in the region, such as the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, the Brazilian Football Championship (Brasileirão), and international competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League.
DirecTV GO also brings together a catalog of series such as ‘I know this much is true’; ‘Patria’; ‘Lovecraft Country’; ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Undoing’; as well as ‘Godfather of Harlem’; ‘Devs’; ‘Mrs. America’; ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’; and movies, including ‘Joker’; ‘El robo del siglo’ and ‘Jojo Rabbit’.
