SVOD OTT DirecTV GO (AT&T, soon to be acquired by the Argentine Grupo Werthein) has launched a new plan for the Mexican market, through which its subscribers will be able to access all the Televisa’s owned blim tv platform catalog. As Vanessa Rosas Molina, COO at blim tv, reported to Nextv News Latin America, unlike the plan that DirecTV GO and blim tv announced last February, in this new initiative DirecTV GO is including blim tv in a bundle, without the need for a additional subscription.
‘We know that consumers are the leading actors. For this reason, with DirecTV GO we aim to offer subscribers access to the best entertainment experience, how and when they want it, and from various devices, on a single platform that consolidates all content’, reported Gustavo Fonseca, President at DirecTV GO.
According to the information reported, new DirecTV GO subscribers will be able to access all blim tv content as part of the plan, with 39 TV channels and more than 37 thousand hours of on demand content. The offer includes all Televisa Network’s FTA and pay-TV channels, as well as other international ones, and also series, movies, sports content, documentaries, and other related titles.
‘With the new DirecTV GO subscription plan, which includes all the contents of our extensive premium catalog, blim tv strengthens its commitment to reaching more and more Mexican homes with the best entertainment’, reported Vanessa Rosas Molina, COO at blim tv.
