DIRECTV GO joins forces with NEO Association to boost its distribution

DIRECTV GO partnered with the NEO Association to promote the distribution of the streaming pay TV service in Brazil. As explained by the operator that owns the platform, in addition to providing the exclusive conditions with which it works with more than 190 other operators in the country, the technology company will carry out a technical integration through its platform to facilitate billing so there’s no need to use a credit card.

After being launched in 2020, the DIRECTV application was the first to operate under the concept of virtual pay TV operator in the Brazilian territory, offering the user the possibility of accessing the main open TV and pay TV channels in a linear grid, but through streaming, along with a library of VOD content.

Gustavo Fonseca, president of DIRECTV GO, announced about the alliance: “Almost a year after the launch of DIRECTV GO in Brazil, we have already established ourselves in the main urban centers of the country and the NEO Association will collaborate to increase our regional capillarity“. For his part, Alex Jucius, president of NEO, explained: “The alliance with DIRECTV GO will allow the broadband companies of the NEO Association to have one more option to distribute linear channels and VOD content to their subscribers at a competitive price and without the need for SeAC”.
