Colombian professional football club America de Cali has recently launched its new SVOD OTT, which it called ‘America Play’, with Futbolete and Somos GAD as technological partners.
As reported from the platform’s web version, its access is possible from anywhere in the world, and its catalog will include interviews, documentaries and live broadcasts, esports, access to raffles, and other exclusive content. Up to now, Deportivo Cali has not confirmed the launch of an America Play’s app for mobile devices.
‘On this innovative platform there will be anecdotes of male and female players, their ways of training, how the ‘classic’’matches are lived (in which the most popular teams of a country or city face each other); tutorials, analysis and everything behind football players. Likewise, the lives of our amateur footballers, their football stories and how they came to wear the club’s jersey. And, of course, our fans will also have a leading role’, reported Mauricio Romero, Executive President at America de Cali. ‘We expect to bring closer not only the fan who has a direct relationship with the club, but also that America de Cali’s fan who lives abroad, and has a feeling of nostalgia for his team’, the executive completed.
Those who subscribe to América Play until next Saturday, May 1st, will pay an amount of COP 49,990 (USD 14) per year, and will be able to enjoy free access to the platform during the first two months. After the first year is completed, the subscription will be valued at COP 79,990 (USD 22). Apart from that, from America Play it is reported that the platform offers monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual plans, and subscribers will be able to choose the plan they prefer through payment with a credit or debit card.
