The news channel CNN Brasil reached an agreement with YouTube to be part of the YoutubeSales Partner program, which from now on accredits it to sell advertising spaces on the video platform directly to advertisers interested in associating with the station’s content through its channels in the app. “This is our choice of platform to reach consumers in a more comprehensive way, offering all our content, from hard news to soft news, to advertisers”, Mauricio Kotait, commercial Vice President of CNN Brazil, said during the announcement of the alliance.
Regarding the benefits for advertisers, the proposal offers them the possibility of carrying out cross-screen campaigns, due to the extensive footprint that CNN Brazil has on social networks. “We really have a very distributed brand. YouTube, website, social networks, applications, podcast, TV, radio and events. We are the most complete on the market”, Kotait explained.
In addition to its audience in traditional media, CNN Brazil accumulates more than 12 million monthly viewers through its YouTube channels, where it offers a wide catalogue of content that includes from newscasts to programs of interest and lifestyle, with live broadcasts and exclusive shows. After launching its first channel on the platform in February 2020, the signal began to incorporate the rest of its brands, such as CNN Brasil Soft, CNN Brasil Business and CNN Viagem e Gastronomia.
