Claro Colombia (America Movil) announced last week a partnership agreement with Netflix, so that its customers can subscribe to the platform and pay their pan’s subscription in the postpaid bill. For this, as officially reported by the company, customers must log in to Mi Claro App and choose to subscribe to Netflix’s Basic, Standard or Premium plan, and make the monthly payment, without credit interest.
‘Customers always come first for us. For that reason, we aim to create better experiences and provide facilities through the implementation of partnerships such as the one we do with Netflix, so that they have the possibility to pay for this service with their postpaid plan account and through any of our payment channels, such as Mi Claro App, or the extensive network of Claro Experience Centers’, said Felipe Villa, Marketing & Digital Transformation VP at Claro Colombia, who also reported that ‘this is the first part of a series of developments to provide benefits and facilities for our clients’.
From Claro Colombia they also reported that, thanks to this agreement, their clients will be able to access Netflix from most devices that can connect to the internet, and thus access their catalog. At the end of Q2 2020, the platform recorded more than 36 million subscribers in Latin America and appointed Ted Sarandos as the company’s new co-CEO.
