América Móvil presented the results of its subsidiaries for Q3 2021 and revealed that the Claro Box TV service in Brazil reached 190 thousand subscribers. The figure represents a notable increase of 55.7% over the previous period.
Although pay TV had a significant growth in recent months, in the rest of the revenues Claro Brasil remained stable, with a general increase of just 0.24%. However, fixed income, which includes broadband, mobile telephony and pay TV in total, fell 5.1%, hurting the general growth with a total of USD 920 million.
On the other hand, the company did obtain another important increase in mobile services, with a growth of 8.9% for Q3 2021, while in the whole year net income grew 8.3%, with a total of USD 130 million . Finally, the report stated that the total coverage of its FTTH network in Brazil reached 2.8 million homes, after having incorporated 26 new municipalities in the last period; while the fixed network reached 34.4 million.
