Mexican OTT platform Chivas TV, which offers the matches of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, launched the original interactive series “Juglares del Gol”. The first episode is already available in the club’s Facebook page. The CEO of Grupo Omnilife-Chivas, José Luis Higuera, will talk about Chivas TV’s business model in the next edition of NexTV Series Mexico & Central America.
“Juglares del Gol” follows the casting the will select the next two commentators who will be part of Chivas TV transmissions. The series premiered on September 20 before the match against Tigres vs Chivas. The contest is being conducted in three Mexican cities with about 500 participants.
Chivas TV was launched in mid-year after it disrupted the professional soccer matches televising model by letting go of a 22-year partnership with media giant Televisa.
The next edition of NexTV Series Mexico & Central America will be held on October 4 and 5 in Mexico City. Higuera participate in the panel “Sports: Multi-screen, OTT & Live Streaming”.
