Chivas relaunches its OTT service in partnership with NBC Sports

Club Deportivo Guadalajara announced the relaunch of its OTT service Chivas TV. For this new stage, the Mexican team has signed a deal with NBC Sports Group to use the Playmaker Media platform.

Chivas renamed its service as Chivas TV 2.0 and with this new partnership wants to leave behind the technical problems it recorded during its first year, and for which it was fined several times.

In addition, Chivas launched a new monthly subscription option for MX$ 111 and USD 6.99 for international users (except the United States and Puerto Rico) as well as iOS and Android apps.

The new platform will launch with the friendly match against Porto, from Estadio Chivas on July 19 in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
