Consumer Electronics Show (CES) new edition in Las Vegas showed the 8K TV launchings from its leading manufacturers: Samsung (Samsung 65-, 75 and 98- inch LCD), Sonny (Sonny 85- and 98- inch LCD), LG (LG 88- inch OLED and 75- inch LCD) and TLC (TLC 8K Roku TV).
One of the most important details is that 8K content is nonexistent, and improvements made in image quality over 4K look to be slight.
Although prices were not confirmed for any of those 8K TV models, Samsung is prevented to launch the cheapest for the UK and Europe, which will cost about USD 5,000.
Bigger 8K sets, such as Samsung 85- inch model is valued in USD 15,000. Sony, which presented its 98- inch model has its 100- inch Z9D 4K TV in market, the closer equivalent existing model, which cost USD 60,000 when it came out in 2016.
