Carlos Moltini was appointed as new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Telecom Argentina to replace Alejandro Urricelqui. As reported in a report filed with the National Securities Commission (CNV), Urricelqui gave his position up last May 15th, ‘for personal reasons’. Despite his decision, Urricelqui will continue to be linked to the company’s Board of Directors.
Moltini served as CEO of the company until January 1st this year, since he had assumed in 2017, when Telecom merged with Cablevision. Before that, the executive had been General Manager of Cablevision and, before being elected as CEO, the executive was already a member of Telecom. Previously, he worked on Multicanal and Canal 13.
Telecom reported in an official statement that these changes ‘do not make any change in the company’s executive management’
