Cablevision makes Flow app available to all its clients for free in Argentina

Telecom Argentina announced yesterday that all Cablevision customers in the country will be able to access the Flow app for free, available for download on any device from the Google Play Store or App Store. The initiative takes place as a measure to keep people at home and stop the advance of Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

The Flow app offers linear TV channels and more than 13 thousand hours of on demand content, through a catalog of series, films, documentaries, gigs and e-sports competitions , added to the possibility of renting recently released films like ‘Frozen 2’ or ‘Star Wars, Episode IX’. Clients will also be able to access 17 high-quality co-productions, such as the Argentine series El Tigre Veron, Tu parte del trato -both produced by Cablevision, Turner, El Trece and Polka-,  Atrapa a un ladron, and others.

Some of the tools available on the Flow app allow its clients to watch a program that is being broadcast from the beginning; watch programs already broadcast; record content in the cloud and store it to be accessed from any device; pause live shows; rent recently released movie and create various profiles, each with their own personalized recommendations. Other functions also available are the Flow programming browser and parental control, among others.

In addition, all customers who have the Flow app downloaded will be able to access the Fox Premium pack for free until April 1st, which includes seven Fox TV channels and all the on demand content. The company had already announced this measure for Cablevision Digital, HD and Flow clients. On the other hand, on its last quarterly results report (Q4 2019), Telecom Argentina reported 966 thousand Flow STBs distributed.
