Bolivia increases RTVE’s TV channels offering

As recently reported by several specialized websites, Bolivian companies Cotas, Entel, Comteco and Cotel, which include TV plans as part of their content offering, have expanded the Radio Television Española’s TV channels catalog in the Latin American country.

As reported, Cotas, Entel and Comteco, which was initially broadcasting the TVE Internacional channel, has now included the four RTVE channels. In other words, apart from TVE Internacional, Comteco is now offering  its TV clients the channel ‘24 Horas’, focused on news; the ‘Star’ channel, focused on fiction content produced by RTVE; and ‘Clan’, whose catalog is aimed at children’s audiences and, according to specialized websites, it currently reaches more than 2.5 million households in the American continent. On the other hand, Cotel now includes TVE Internacional, 24 Horas and Star as part of its TV channels portfolio.

At the OTT level, RTVE has announced this year the launch of RTVE Play, available since June in the Americas, after an initial trial period, which took place in Panama. According to the information reported from RTVE at the time of the platform’s launch, access to its catalog is available for a monthly subscription, and its contents can be watched both via the web and from an app, available for download on iOS and Android devices.
