AMC Networks International Latin America (AMCNI-LA) announced this Wednesday that, from now on, the company’s Affiliate Sales team will be the trade representative of Acorn TV, SVOD OTT of AMC Networks, which offers a catalog of British and international series on demand, in Latin America.
‘The addition of Acorn TV as part of the AMCNI-LA content portfolio excites us because, apart from strengthening the relationship with our strategic partners, it enriches the offer of high-quality content with a platform that addresses new consumption ways of the audiences’, said Alejandro Kember, VP of Distribution at AMCNI-LA.
Matthew Graham, SVP at Acorn TV, has also expressed himself about the partnership with AMCNI-LA. ‘The great reception that Acorn TV has had since its arrival at Latin America has motivated us so much. We are convinced that adding this platform to the AMCNI-LA’s portfolio will make it reach many more households thanks to the presence and relationships of the Affiliate Sales team in the region’, said the executive.
Since its launch in Latin America in 2018, the distribution of Acorn TV has evolved, and it is now available in most of the Spanish-speaking countries of the region through acorn.tv, Roku, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Chromecast, Izzi TV, and Amazon Prime and Apple channels.
