AMC Networks International launches My Pocket in Latin America

AMC Networks International Latin America (AMCNI) announced the launch of the My Pocket app in Latin America. According to information from the company, it will be available for free  and will allow its customers to access the first episode of some of the most popular series in its six channels. In addition, it includes El Gourmet and Más Chic’s original productions, Film & Arts and Europa Europa’s special programs , and AMC and Sundance TV series and films. The app in Spanish-speaking language is now available throughout the region.

Ricardo Deben, AMCNI Latin America’s Executive Vice President and General Director, said that ‘after a year of distribution and audience growth, we are launching this initiative in Latin America as a powerful promotional tool, where our fans will have the opportunity to learn about the news from our six channels, and continue enjoying our contents through any of the multiple operators that distribute the channel’s catalog in the region’.

This way, the company aims to motivate its customers to access the following episodes of their content in the corresponding channels. ‘We are delighted to be pioneers in this type of proposals that support the pay TV industry and to be able to get our customers closer to a sample of our channels variety and quality‘, concluded Deben.

Veronica Rondinoni, AMC Networks International Latin America’s Programming Mr. Manager & Lifestyle, will be  one of the speakers taking part of the panel ‘Towards the new multiplatform audiences’, during the Nextv Series Argentina event, organized by Dataxis, which will take place next May 14th and 15th at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Buenos Aires.
