AMC Networks International Latin America (AMCNI-LA) announced this week it has ran a pan-regional advertising sales agreement with Fox Sports in Brazil and Mexico, which is effective as of today.
‘We are proud of having partnered with Fox Sports Mexico and Brazil. The agreement expands our great offer and contributes to the continued AMCNI-LA growth in the region’, said Hector Costa SVP Advertising Sales at AMCNI-LA. ‘This agreement enables the advertiser to access a diverse and complete portfolio, which reaches audiences interested in sports, entertainment and lifestyle channels’, the executive added.
Fernando Iturriaga, Fox Sports Mexico and Brazil EVP, has also expressed himself on the agreement and said that ‘we have chosen a great team to boost our pan-regional sales. We are convinced both portfolios combination will generate positive results’.
AMCNI-LA advertising revenue has surpassed the 2018 results so far this year. In Brazil there was a 96% growth, and in Mexico, growth is valued at 34%. The already described trend is in line with the TV channels performance. In Mexico, AMCNI-LA is still the fastest growing group among pay TV subscribers (27% growth), while in Brazil, in the last two-year period, AMC’s audiences increased 136% in the daily total. Film&Arts Brazilian audience has increased itself in a 50%, always in daily total terms.
