As part of its Q2 2021 financial results report presentation, Mexican telecommunications company Totalplay (Grupo Salinas) ended the period with 1.93 million pay TV subscribers,  a customer base that, according to the company's figures, experienced a 48% growth compared with the figures that the company showed in Q2 2020. According to the company’s report, Totalplay's pay TV subscriber base continues its growing process in 2021. The company ended Q4 2020 with just over 1.6 million subscribers. At the end of Q1 2021, the figure grew to 1.79 million customers, and is consolidated as of June 30th, 2021, with the already reported figure, close to 2 million subscribers.
