As reported by Telefonica on its January-June 2020 balance sheet, officially published at the end of July, the Spanish company ended the first half of the year with increases in its IPTV client base in Latin America, including Brazil, despite the fall in pay TV subscribers it experienced in the region.In Latin America, including Brazil, at the end of Q2 2020, Telefonica recorded a total of 4.16 million pay TV subscribers, of which almost 1.23 million were IPTV clients. Likewise, its IPTV subscriber base is increasing, since, throughout the region, at the end of Q1 2020 there were 1.1 million subscribers, while at the end of Q2 2019, the entire region concentrated 853,100 clients.
