Viacom-Telefe announces new programming at Upfront

Viacom-Telefe presented its new 2018 programming at its upfront event, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the concept “La Fuerza Mueve,”. It was attended by stars of the network, as well as media agencies, producers and advertisers, among more than 400 guests.

In 2018 the new programming will include new series “100 Días para Enamorarse” (co-produced with Underground) and Kally’s Mashup (produced in Argentina for Nickelodeon). The company will also produce local adaptation of entertainment formats “First Dates”, “La Voz” and “Bake off”. Another highlight is the biopic “Sandro de América” (produced by The Magic Eye), which will be released at the end of March.

The company also confirmed that MTV’s reality show “Caniggia Libre” will return for a second season, after achieving good rating results in season one. In addition,   next year will be a new season of PH (Podemos Hablar), which is broadcast on Telefe.

Darío Turovelzky, Senior Vice President of Global Content for Telefe and VIMN Argentina, said during the event that in 2018 there will also be more fictions in the same line of “Un Gallo para Esculapio” (produced by Underground and TNT with Boga Bogagna).
