Uruguay: 20,000 clients watched the World Cup matches on TCC Vivo platform

Uruguay’s pay TV operator TCC provided data on the performance of its online service TCC Vivo during the soccer World Cup in Russia. According to the information, more than 20,000 customers watched games of the event on the platform, through 100,000 different PCs.
The most watched live match was Argentina vs. Nigeria. In second place ranked Argentina vs. Croatia and in third Spain vs. Portugal. “The most watched games were during the week, during office hours,” the company said.
If only the matches of the Uruguayan national team are consider, the most watched game was the one played against Russia for the group stage. In second place ranked the game with Egypt and third against Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, the inaugural ceremony of the World Cup was the most watched content among VOD content.
In addition to the world Cup, the operator shared data of the most viewed content on the platform. “Masterchef Uruguay” (Channel 10) was the main attraction. In second place was “Por la camiseta mundial”, also from Channel 10, and third place ranked the film “On the Road.”
