Univision Deportes announced that it has secured broadcast rights to all 18 of Liga MX’s soccer teams in competition through 2017/18. The distribution deal includes live broadcast on Univision Deportes’ television and radio platforms in major markets across the U.S. as well as digital platforms nationwide.
The company said in a press release that Liga MX is “the most-watched soccer league in the U.S., regardless of language”. Univision said that rights to Lobos de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, known as Lobos BUAP, were secured during the mid-2017 season.
