UFC closes deal with CDO in Chile

UFC and Chilean pay TV channel Canal del Deporte Olímpico (CDO) announced a content agreement to offer the third season of the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter Latin America”, the weekly TV show “UFC Ahora” and four live UFC events in the Chilean network.

 

UFC Ahora (Saturdays at 11:30pm) has 26 one-hour episodes with the best moments of the most significant fights of UFC’s 23-year history. In turn, the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter Latin America” will air Fridays at 22 with the participation of Chilean fighters Santiago Cardenas and Juan Villaseca.

 

UFC is the world’s leading Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organization and the largest Pay-Per-View event provider in the world, the company said in a press release. UFC produces more than 40 live events annually, broadcast in over 156 countries and territories, to nearly 1.1 million TV households worldwide, in 29 different languages.

 

Meanwhile, CDO is the channel of the Chilean Olympic Committee. It has three channels: Basic, CDO Premium and CDO HD. It also offers CDOPLAY, the online version of the channel.
