TV Azteca announced that it has signed an agreement with Google to offer its content on YouTube’s platform. The partnership is part of the reinvention process started by TV Azteca’s CEO Benjamín Salinas.
The Mexican company said this alliance helps to strengthen the distribution of TV Azteca through YouTube offering the audience the advantage of having a wider range of the content of the digital platforms of TV Azteca -azteca.com and our apps–, which now also transmit with the quality offered by YouTube.
Juan José Durán, content director at YouTube for Latin America said this partnership with the Mexican company “is a great example of how a TV network and a technology company can work together creating new solutions and experiences for users”.
YouTube’s player is already available in TV Azteca’s digital platforms, offering flagship shows like “La Fiscal de Hierro”, “La Isla”, “Cocineros Mexicanos”, “Venga la Alegría” and “Ventaneando”, as well as Fut Azteca and Box Azteca sports broadcasts.
