Turner produces show for Telefe in Argentina

Turner Latin America announced that it has produced for Telefe (Viacom) the TV show “Primera Cita”, the Argentine version of the non-scripted dating show “First Dates”.
This initiative is part of the company’s new content strategy, which includes producing show for its own brands and for third parties, Turner explained in a statement. The media company already participated in the production of TV series such as “Un gallo para Esculapio” and “Historia de un Clan” for Telefe, and “El maestro”, “La fragilidad de los cuerpos” and “Signos” for El Trece, all of them were broadcasted by its pay TV channel TNT.
In addition, Turner developed the entertainment show “Pasapalabra” for free-to-air broadcasters El Trece in Argentina and Chilevisión in Chile, and the reality shows “Vestido de novia” and “El mejor plan” for Discovery Home & Health. Soon, Turner will also produce for Telefe the cooking contest “Bake off”.
“Primera Cita” is an original Warner Bros. format. It premiered on the Argentine TV channel on February 14. There were other versions of the show in several countries in Europe, in addition to the United States, Israel, Australia and Brazil.
