Turner launches TargetingNOW solution in Latin America


Turner Latin America announced the launch in the region of TargetingNOW, an advanced targeting solution for TV that offers a more effective reach of advertising campaigns in the specific targets of each brand.
TargetingNOW aims at advertisers who want to enter into TV targeting based on big data and start looking at media planning beyond traditional metrics, which are limited in terms of segmentation variables, the media company said in a statement.
The solution merges the syndicated database of the industry and Turner’s database, in terms of consumption of products, brands and media. In this way, it can predict the TV viewing behavior of a specific target, allowing the optimization of the advertising investment, both before the launch of the campaign and when it is being executed.
According to Valeria Beola, Senior Director of Client Strategy & Development at Turner Latin America, the solution “proposes a reliable way to improve the current targeting and, as a result, to optimize the investment results of the brands”.
Turner originally launched TargetingNOW at the end of 2013 in the United States and early this year it unveiled the solution in Mexico. The platform will reach more Latam countries soon.
