The Chilean FTA TV channel Mega decided to open a new content distribution company, which will be responsible for commercializing the channel’s fiction and entertainment productions. Its name is Mega Global Entertainment (MGE) and will be led by Esperanza Garay.
“The sales of our content and productions should reach the five continents and be on all available platforms,” stated Mega’s CEO, Patricio Hernández. MGE will begin its operations in the next LA Screenings.
Garay has worked for 18 years at Telemundo Internacional, signal for the Latino community, where she managed the sales area for FTA and pay TV in Latin America. Previously, she had worked at the distributor Zebracom Internacional.
