Mexican network TV Azteca has announced the start of production on the new series “Entre Correr y Vivir”, which will be broadcasted by Azteca 7 and by Televisa’s Blim. The OTT service obtained the rights to stream this production and is open to add new third party content to its catalogue.
“Blim is a Televisa company, but we are looking for content from independent producers, we find the opportunity to license “Entre Correr y Vivir” because we liked the story” said Blim Director Carlos Sandoval, according to Expansion.
Sandoval – who was present at the launching of the series – said that the search of content for Blim’s service is not limited to Mexico. “We are looking in Colombia, Argentina and other countries”.
The series premiere is scheduled for October 17. Last July, the CEO of Estudio 7 at TV Azteca, Rodrigo Fernandez, had announced the partnership between the two main broadcasters for this project.
“Entre Correr y Vivir” will be directed by Raul Quintanilla and produced by Julian Antuñano. It will have two season, with 20 episodes each, recorded in HD. The series is a tribute to Ricardo and Pedro Rodriguez, considered the best Mexican Formula 1 drivers in the sixties.
